SCHERR LEGATE PRESENTS

CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS PARADE

AND LIGHTING CEREMONY

IN DOWNTOWN EL PASO.

Most of Scherr Legate attorneys are from El Paso. Throughout our lives, as children and into adulthood, the lighting of the tree and lights at San Jacinto continues to be an essential part of our holidays. Sponsoring the parade allows us to inject more life into downtown El Paso and provide the opportunity for families to create their own special holiday moments.

We are proud to be part of the El Paso community.

The 21st annual traditional lighting of San Jacinto Plaza was more spectacular this year with over 60 floats and hundreds of participants. There is no doubt that the city and the community outdid themselves once again! Mayor Dee Margo, Jase Canales of Candlelighters of El Paso and our partner, Sam Legate, flipped the ceremonial switch with the Celebration of Lights Parade to follow. San Jacinto Plaza was filled with more than 400,000 mini lights adorning 120 trees and other colorful displays for all to enjoy. Scherr Legate partners, associates and employees also got into the holiday spirit by distributing 1,000 hats and over 600 cups of hot cocoa to event spectators, and building the lead float for the parade.

Please enjoy some of the photos from this year’s Celebration of Lights festivities.
